2025 AGM Calling Notice

Ymlaen Forward UNISON Branch is giving all its members notice of the 2025 Annual General Meetings (AGM) of Ymlaen Forward UNISON Branch.

We asking all our members to get involved as much as you can!

AGM’s are held every year in each of the Branches within UNISON and is an opportunity for ALL Branch members to get much more involved with the Branch and Union as a whole. UNISON Branches are made up of executive committee officers who are voted into each of the positions through a nomination and voting process which is conducted during the AGM cycle. During the AGM, all Branch officer positions are eligible for nominations. Branch officer posts within Ymlaen Forward are as follows:

Please note that the Branch Secretary position requires release from the employer to work on cross-branch issues. Nominations for Branch Officer positions will close 3rd February 2025.

AGM Timetable

The Branch will be holding aggregate meetings across two weeks in February 2025, ALL members are invited to attend ONE meeting.

Thanks to the close working partnerships we have with our employers, the Branch are pleased to announce that several of its employers have kindly agreed to open their venues and host in-person meetings during the AGM cycle. Don’t worry if you are not an employee of one of our employer venues, Branch members will be welcomed regardless.

We are still putting the finishing touches to our AGM timetable and we will finalise and confirm with members over the next few weeks. The timetable stands as follows:

Any branch member may attend any AGM, and each meeting will take no more than 30 minutes. The Branch aims to provide snacks at in-person AGM meetings.
